About Rachael.
From Astrophysicist to Dog Handler, one could say Rachael is relatively adaptable. As a researcher, she specialized in data reduction, transformation, analysis, and visualization. As a dog handler, she focuses on being reliable, patient, and putting client/dog needs as her #1 priority.
On the side, she is passionate about outreach and graphic design, leading her to create compelling graphics that are eye-catching, scientifically accurate, and easy to understand.
The Great Outdoors.
Rachael really values physical activity, particularly of the outdoor variety. Part of the reason she loved living in Tucson was all of the outdoor activities available year-round with 350+ days of sun! Now in Michigan, she is looking forward to exploring a new environment!
She enjoys top rope climbing (pictured here), outdoor volleyball, city-league soccer, and casual hiking/camping with her dog.
